What is the En Sound Music Awards (ESMA)?
The En Sound Music Awards is an independent Christian music award show that recognizes artists of all genres by presenting them with trophies in an award ceremony for their dedication and contribution to the Christian music community.

Who is eligible to be nominated for an ESMA?
Any artist who has a CD/DVD project released between January 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012. Recording must be of professional sound quality and properly mixed, mastered and packaged with barcode. Artists or labels must be visible meaning but not limited to Online, Newspapers, Radio, Television, The Internet and Magazines etc. It is strongly recommended that the artists help to generate public interest in their projects and in the voting process.

Can international artists submit to the ESMA?
Yes, we strongly suggest that international artists submit as the ESMA is an international Christian music awards event.

Do you accept submission year-round?
Yes, we do accept year-round submissions.

How does one submit projects to be considered for a nomination?
You may send us a zip file of your full project along with the front cover art work (high resolution), or you may mail us a physical copy to the address below.

Is there a submission fee?
Yes, there is a submission fee of $45 for artists not signed to a label, and $55 for record labels per submission.

How is the fee paid?
You may make the payment via PayPal.com or mail us a certified check (personal checks not accepted) or money order to:

Who can vote and how does voting take place?
Anyone and everyone over the age of 13 years old can vote. Voting is done tow ways: exclusively online and via text message.

How many categories are there?
The number of categories varies and is dependent on the amount of submissions received per category.

What happens if there’s a tie in any of the categories?
Should there be a tie in any category, only the President of En Sound Entertainment can break that tie using his own discretion.

Do you allow multiple voting?
Yes, we do allow multiple voting but each of those votes has to be cast from different computers as the IP address for each computer is recorded and will not allow for multiple votes from any one computer.

How are the winners chosen?
The public will vote for their favorite artists in each category, and the four artists with the most votes from each category will be in the final running, then the artists with the top votes from each category will be awarded at the the event.

What is CIRA?
CIRA is the Christian Internet Radio Association.

What is the purpose of CIRA?
Beginning in late 2012, CIRA will serve as the governing body of the En Sound Music Awards. Its purpose will be to provide a forum where musical artists, critics, radio personalities, broadcasters, entrepreneurs and music lover share knowledge for the benefit and promotion of gospel music. Any artists wishing to be nominated for an En Sound Music Awards MUST become a member of CIRA in order to be considered for a nomination, however, it must be understood that being a member does not guarantee you a nomination; the strength of your work and the effort you put in promoting is what ensures you a nomination. CIRA also helps to put rules and regulations in place for the En Sound Music Awards and will be conducting training, webinars and other services. For more information on CIRA visit: www.1cira.org
